Yes, Birdie has an absolute favorite indoor dog house that beautifully doubles as her daily bed! We affectionately call it her “Bird House”—or you might even refurrrr to it as her official “Birdroom”! 😉

Either way, every single animal in the pack loves this covered space, and the other dogs (or our cat Johnny) constantly try to sneak in for a secret snooze. You always know when an intruder is in her castle because Birdie will start pacing the floor, walking around completely upset that her room is occupied!

Because Birdie is so deeply obsessed with this specific house, we have actually bought quite a few of them over the years, so she never has to go without one. We keep one permanently in our travel trailer at the RV Park, another set up at the condo, and even one over at Nanny and Meme’s house.

📌 Honeycomb Convertible Dog Bed & House

Birdie, along with all the other animals in the pack, absolutely loves this convertible dog house to dog bed model! Around our house, we affectionately refer to it as the “Honeycomb Hut.”

The original reason I bought this pop-up design was because Birdie had a funny habit of climbing right on top of her regular dog house in the RV whenever she didn’t feel like laying down inside it.

When I came across this brilliant pop-up design, it solved the problem completely by giving her an enclosed indoor dog house or an open-top dog bed to lounge on—all in one clever product!

Needless to say, this has easily become Birdie’s second favorite dog house. Funny enough, she didn’t really care for it for years, until one day she just randomly started using it when someone else was occupying her main pyramid bed, or when we were out on a van trip and this was the only bedding option available.

📌 Hugging Circular Donut Dog Bed

We randomly picked up this circular dog bed for Milo at a discount spot — it was either Goodwill, HomeGoods, or TJ Maxx, I can’t exactly remember, but it was a total steal for about $10! For now, this specific dog bed stays permanently in the travel trailer at the RV park.

Every single one of our dogs absolutely loves this bed, and it is rarely empty; if one pup gets up, another one immediately claims the spot! They love the circular design because the raised edges naturally “hug” them and provide a cozy sense of security.

Sometimes they like to stretch completely out across it, and other times I will actually drape a lightweight cover over the top to keep it dark and den-like while they sleep.

While I am pretty sure this specific one was branded by the ASPCA and is tough to find online now, the donut or circular design itself is what makes it such a huge hit with the pack.

💡 Quick Tip: If your pets seem to ignore a brand-new dog bed, house, case, or stroller, try tossing a familiar little blanket or towel inside first. We do this with all of our gear because our crew tends to snub them if they don’t have that extra layer of familiar comfort. What can I say? 🛋️ The “LoveSac” Takeover: Ultimate Oversized Dog Bed

I have to be completely honest here — a LoveSac is technically an premium, oversized bean-bag-like chair designed for humans. Except, there are actually no beans inside; it’s packed with a super fluffy, shredded foam pillow material that makes it incredibly comfortable.

Around our house, however, the humans rarely get to use it as a chair because the pack has completely claimed the LoveSac as their ultimate giant dog bed! It has actually turned into a hilarious routine whenever we get random visitors. The LoveSac is usually the very first place guests decide to sit when they walk in, and we don’t always tell them that they are lounging in what is effectively a massive, multi-dog bed!

Sometimes you will find two or three of the pups curled up together snoozing in it at the exact same time. To be fair, it was absolutely not purchased to be a dog bed — that is just the beautiful, cozy fate that happened to it. I cannot even tell you how many random dog houses and beds we have purchased over the years! Usually, if we find a high-quality bed on clearance, out of season, or just priced at a barking good deal, we snag it.
