About Us

Hi, I’m Birdie! 🐾

I’m a 10-year-old Toodle (Terrier + Poodle mix) living my best life. Five years ago, during the pandemic, my dog mom @BloggingBrandi adopted me and gave me the fresh start I needed.

Since then, I’ve been traveling in an RV, exploring new places, and enjoying all the belly rubs, toys, and treats I could ever want. I’ve learned a few tricks (I’ve got “sit” down perfectly!) and love sleeping under the covers, snuggling close, and giving out plenty of kisses.

The only thing I struggle with is slowing down—I’ve got that terrier energy that keeps me zooming fast like a bird (which might be how I got my name). And yes, my bark is pretty unforgettable!

Now, Birdie’s Doghouse is home to five dogs (including me!) and one cat, and I’m on a mission to help other rescue pets find their forever homes. Through our blog, I share stories, tips, and adventures from life on the road so animal lovers everywhere can join in and support pets in need.
